The Underground comes to Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas, proprietor of the Encore Beach Club, Xs and Intrigue Night clubs, has recently announced their 2019 DJ residencies. The announcements are key indicators for trends in EDM.
This year’s list of DJs definitely signals a large shift in what genres are represented in Vegas. A few of the Wynn Nightlife residents for 2019 include Fisher, Bedouin, Nicole Mouldaber and Elrow. Hosting Elrow is potentially a huge shift for how Vegas Clubs have operated for some time now. It seems they might start following the Ibiza way of hosting parties.
What is also incredible to see is just how quickly tech-house and techno have stormed into the mainstream. Just as recently as 2017, EDX and Robin Schulz were as underground you were going to get in Vegas.
Its exciting times for Techno and Tech House lovers. The genres are getting even more popular than ever. I am looking forward to whatever the future holds.
